Procedures to fix installation problems

Problem: The Installer aborts without completing the installation:

Steps to resolve the problem:

Make sure you are logged on with administrator rights. Ensure you can save files into the destination folder and the system folder (usually "WinNT\System32").
Check if the installation completes on a different, local path. If this succeeds you may not have sufficient access rights to the desired path.
Note the error number and description. In our Link-Section we compiled a number of helpful links to troubleshoot specific Microsoft or Installshield errors. We ask you to visit these sites, enter the error number and search for documents which will further assist you in resolving installation problems.
