- SolidDoc is a tool to measure the performance
of different modeling techniques on a part which will be usually
inserted several times into a assembly. We created the tool to
measure the performance of standard parts of different vendors
in contrast to EcoNorm.
SolidDoc is also a great benchmarking tool, useful for comparing
different hardware, driver- or SolidWorks versions. It runs with
SolidWorks 2000, 2001 and 2001plus. Best of all - unlike other
Benchmarks from SPEC or SolidSolutions - it's download size is
about 3.5 MB including the SolidWorks files in all Versions. It
benchmarks a system in typically less then five minutes. Once
released you will be able to track and compare your results through
an internet database.
- SolidDoc is Freeware!
- SolidDoc needs Win 9x*, Win Me*, NT 4.0, Windows
2000 or Windows XP*, together with SolidWorks 2000 or higher.
* These operating systems have not been tested
jet, but we are not aware of any issues which would prevent EcoNorm
from working with them.
