EcoSqueeze is a small application used to defragment files created through Microsoft's OLE2 / Structured Storage Technology (i.e. MS-Word, Excel, SolidWorks...).

In contrast to a hard disc defragmentation, EcoSqueeze opens each file, examines it for dead content and removes it. This can result in substantial smaller files (up to 60%), of course without any loss of data.

For SolidWorks-files are special options available which can reduce the file size even further. For certain files this can be as much as an additional 50% over the defragmented size.
